Valladolid, which will play in the second division next season, said in a statement that Ronaldo informed it of a deal to sell to a “North American investment group with backing from a European fund.”
The club said it would offer more details in the coming days.
Ronaldo acquired 51% of Valladolid in 2018.

Prices across the board have skyrocketed over the past few years, he noted.
“I fully acknowledge that there are supply chains and there’s people who need to be paid all the way back to the producer,” Houston said. “But I think that there are people who are taking a higher cut than they used to.”
