CV2’s 50th Anniversary Holiday Party

Contemporary Verse 2 is hosting a poetry event in celebration of our 50th anniversary! CV2 is Canada’s oldest poetry journal, and we honoured this milestone year by republishing a selection of archival poems from 1975-2020 in two special extended issues of the magazine.

This festive evening will feature readings from Winnipeg poets whose work appeared in the CV2 this past year, including J.R. Léveillé, Duncan Mercredi, Catherine Hunter, Sarah Klassen, Jaime Black-Morsette, and more! We’ll be kicking off the evening with live music from Winnipeg songwriter Theresa Thor.
