Don’s Photo Spring Migration Bird Photography Event with Kane Gin

Spring is one of the best times to get outside with your camera, and the spring migration promises no shortage of movement to capture.

We’re meeting at Oak Hammock Marsh on Saturday, May 16 at 10:00 a.m. for a free bird photography photo walk with Kane Gin of Juniper Extract Photography.

Kane is known for photographing fast moving subjects in flight, from hummingbirds to swallows and even dragonflies. His work focuses on timing, patience, and understanding movement, making this a great opportunity to pick up tips while shooting in real time.

This isn’t a formal workshop. It’s a casual, hands-on morning where you can learn by doing, ask questions as you go, and spend time creating alongside other photographers. Whether you’re working on improving your wildlife photography or just want a reason to get outside and shoot, this is an easy way to get involved.
