Hive Growth & Management Workshop

Ready to take the next step in your beekeeping journey? This workshop is the natural follow‑up to our Beekeeping Basics workshop, designed for new beekeepers who are preparing to move from “thinking about bees” to confidently managing an active hive.

This practical session dives deeper into what happens after your first hive is established. You’ll learn how to support healthy hive growth, when and how to add supers, and how to recognize and respond to common pest and disease pressures throughout the season. We’ll also touch on the basics of honey extraction so you know what to expect when your colony is ready for its first harvest.
