Messiah Queered FREE Open Chorus Event

Would you like to get to know the chorus parts for Handel’s famous oratorio, “Messiah,” along with a full orchestra? You’re welcome to sing any part that suits your voice and spirit at “Messiah Queered” at the University of Manitoba open chorus rehearsal. This is a free event!

“Messiah Queered” is a traditional presentation of the oratorio, but specifically inclusive of anyone wishing to sing any voice type. We will be at the Desautels Faculty of Music Room T2-145, which is the rehearsal room right next to the Desautels Concert Hall at the University of Manitoba.

This event is a rehearsal where we’re only going through the chorus parts in preparation for our two performances, December 5th at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Winnipeg at 7pm and then at December 7th at Grace Mennonite Church in Steinbach at 7pm. Maybe you’ll feel moved to join us after rehearsing!
