WINNIPEG — A man was found beaten in an Osborne Village bus shelter early this morning and conveyed to the hospital in unstable condition.
Initially, when the 911 call was received at 3:59 a.m., the caller reported the victim was unresponsive, according to a spokesman for the Winnipeg Fire and Paramedic Service.
But the spokesman said the man was conscious when he was transported to Health Sciences Centre.
Hours later police were still investigating at the taped-off Osborne Street bus shelter, just south of River Avenue. Police have no updated report on the man’s condition.
