A pizza delivery man escaped injury during a robbery in Elmwood early Wednesday morning.
At approximately 12:30 a.m., Winnipeg police were dispatched to the 300 block of Tweed Avenue after a report of a robbery. A 29-year-old delivery driver had just been lifted of his food, threatened by two other men who were carrying a weapon.
Once grabbing the free meal, the men fled on foot. The driver wasn’t hurt in the exchange.
Police are looking for two men: both black, anywhere from 5-foot-10 to 6-feet in height, ages ranging from 25-30 years of age.
