Enjoy the mild weekend weather. Others aren't so lucky.
Winnipeg temperatures are expected to hit -4 Celsius today and Sunday, although Sunday's highs will be compromised by winds of 40 to 60 kph and about 2 cms of snow.
That's nothing compared to south of us. North Dakota is expected to get up to 25 cm of snow on Sunday. Hardest hit will be the southern part of the state through Fargo-Moorhead. A blizzard watch is in effect for the state until Monday morning.
As well, Ontario is still digging out from a snowstorm Friday. The snowstorm hit Atlantic Canada today. Some flights to Eastern Canada out of Richardson International Airport were canceled today.
In Winnipeg, the low will be just -8 tonight.
Looking ahead, Monday's forecast calls for a high of -11, with the high Tuesday and Wednesday hitting -3.
