Winnipeg police have made arrests in the stabbing of a man and woman near Broadway and Langside Street early Friday morning.
The 15 and 18-year-old male suspects face numerous charges, including two counts of robbery with a weapon. They were arrested in a residence in the 200 block of Young Street.
The 29-year-old male victim was taken to hospital in critical condition and is now listed in unstable condition. A female victim, 23, was treated on scene by paramedics.
Police have also arrested a 42-year-old man in connection with a stabbing early this morning in an apartment block suite at Balmoral Street and Ellice Avenue.
A 32-year-old man was stabbed in the upper body at about 1:30 a.m. inside the suite, where a number of people were socializing.
The victim was conveyed to hospital in unstable condition but has since been upgraded to stable.
