Environment Canada has issued a frost warning for the southwestern section of Manitoba.
A dry airmass, clear skies, and light winds will produce favourable conditions for frost tonight across Southwestern Manitoba. Temperatures are expected to dip just below the freezing point overnight.
This is the first frost warning of the season for southern Manitoba. Frost warnings are issued from the start of the Victoria day weekend until Sept. 21 when minimum temperatures of zero degrees Celsius or lower are forecast. Note that frost warnings are not issued for the Grand Rapids, Berens River or Poplar River regions.
