Winnipeg police have charged a suspect, already in jail for something else, for a bank robbery that’s been an open case for years.
Thanks to DNA at the scene, investigators matched a positive ID in March this year for the robbery that occurred Oct. 5, 2009 in 900 block of Henderson Highway, according to a statement. On Monday, Winnipeg police went to see an inmate and arrested him for the robbery .
