Hey there, time traveller!

It wouldn’t surprise the crowd at the Winnipeg Free Press News Café this afternoon if Justin Trudeau wins next year’s federal election and becomes Canada’s prime minister.
A standing room-only crowd crammed inside the news café to hear the Liberal leader, 42, speak with Shannon Sampert, the new politics and perspectives editor at the Free Press, about his style of politics, the current political climate in Canada, why most of his opponents’ attacks on him haven’t stuck and why ultimately, his job has to be fun.
His comments were frequently interrupted by applause.

Trudeau posed for dozens of photographs both on his way in for the interview and on the way out.
He is scheduled to visit several Folklorama pavilions today, including Israel, Ukraine, the Philippines and India.
