Steinbach RCMP seek suspects who looted area home

Steinbach RCMP are seeking help to track down suspects who broke into a home about five kilometres south of La Broquerie Monday and made off with electronics, jewellery, several iPods and a pellet gun.

Several suspects are believed to have kicked in the back door of the home in broad daylight Monday and looted the place, RCMP said Friday in a statement.

Among the items sold were a large Samsung TV, surround-sound speakers and a 24-carat gold necklace. La Broquerie is 72 kilometres southeast of Winnipeg.

RCMP are asking people with information about the break-in and theft to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477, log onto www.manitobacrimestoppers.com or text TIPMAN plus your message to Crimes (274637)
