Revisit a classic fairy tale

See Victorian-era story The Princess and the Goblin come to life on stage at Centennial Concert Hall, 555 Main St. Directed and choreographed by Twyla Tharp, this 82-minute fairy tale turned ballet tells the story of brave Princess Irene, who rescues several children from the evil Goblin. Fly to the moon

Take your children, nieces, nephews, or siblings on a wondrous adventure to see Toopy and Binoo and the Marshmallow Moon. Watch your fellow Winnipeggers participate in Ted’s Run for Literacy, a fundraiser in honour of Ted Swain, an English teacher and runner. Proceeds raised from the run go to Start2Finish, an organization that promotes literacy and active lifestyles in Winnipeg schools. The run starts at 10 a.m. at Kildonan Park. Go where the wild things are

Imagine yourself as a kid again at the Manitoba Theatre for Young People’s production of Where the Wild Things Are, a book originally written by Maurice Sendak.
