ABOUT THE STARS

The Stars (22-19-7) come into Winnipeg off a 6-3 win Thursday night in Ottawa over the Senators.

Tyler Seguin leads the Stars with 28 goals and 53 points in 48 games. He is followed by Jamie Benn with 16 goals and 44 points.

Forwards Cody Eakin and Ryan Garbutt, both Winnipeg products, are off to productive starts. Eakin has 22 points, including nine goals, while Garbutt has seven goals and 16 points.

Dallas is fifth in the Central Division and trails the fourth-place Jets by nine points in the standings. The Stars have two games in hand on Winnipeg.

Dallas is 11-9-2 on the road this season, but just 3-9-5 against the Central Division.

Winnipeg beat Dallas both times the teams met this season, most recently Jan. 15 in Dallas, when Jets G Ondrej Pavelec made 46 saves in a 2-1 Winnipeg victory.
