ABOUT THE STARS
- Dallas (10-12-5) are 4-5-1 in their last 10 games and 5-5-5 at the American Airlines Center, including a 4-1 win over the Montreal Canadiens Saturday night.
- The Stars have struggled mightily this season against rivals in the Central Division, where they are still looking for their first win, at 0-6-3.
- Stars forward Tyler Seguin was leading the league in goals (21) and points (35) heading into league action Monday night and has been red-hot lately, with points in six of his last seven games (7g, 4a).
- The Stars are in the midst of a very light part of their schedule, with today’s game against the Jets and a game Saturday against the New Jersey Devils their only action over a 10-day stretch.
