EDMONTON — Congrats to Bomber offensive lineman Luke Fritz, who has won the CFL’s Pepsi Refresh Project. Fritz was one of eight CFL players who partnered with the project to come up with ‘refreshing’ ideas to help make Canada a better place. Fritz’s charity of choice was Winnipeg Harvest and the Hunger for Hope program that provides infant formula to babies in Manitoba.
Winnipeg Harvest’s Hunger for Hope initiative will be receiving a $50,000 donation on behalf of Pepsi. The Kinsmen Club of Winnipeg also plans to donate $10,000.
