Hey there, time traveller!

The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have secured another component to their defence – now if they could only find the men on that side of the ball a new boss.
The club announced Thursday that defensive back Brandon Stewart has been signed to a contract extension, following the same news earlier in the week about linebacker Clint Kent and defensive back Alex Suber.
The team is still in need of a defensive coordinator and that search is continuing.
“Brandon is a young player with a lot of upside,” said Vice-President of Football Operations and General Manager Joe Mack in a press release. “He showed a lot of progression last year and we’ll be looking for him to take that next step and be a key contributor on defense next season.”
Stewart appeared in every game last year for the Bombers, including making six starts at the halfback and corner. He finished the year with 27 tackles, one interception and one fumble recovery. Stewart was also a key special teams player and chipped in with eight tackles and one reception on a fake punt that he caught for 27 yards on Labour Day.
“Winnipeg is a great place to play football and it’s nice to feel wanted,” said the 24-year old Eastern Arizona Junior College graduate. “I’m hoping to be able to keep improving my game so that I can personally help this team win a Grey Cup.”
