A vicious-looking sharp-toothed fish with bulging biceps will put a little more bite into the 2011 Winnipeg Goldeyes baseball season.
The Goldeyes, who will play in the American Association this season, unveiled on Monday a secondary logo which will be used on the team’s red jersey worn for afternoon home games.
The Goldeyes will also use the secondary logo in its 2011 advertising campaign and on team apparel sold in The Dugout Souvenir Store inside Shaw Park in time for the opening of the 2011 season.
The logo was created by of Zephyr Hats of Loveland, Colo. Goldeyes players wear Zephyr Hats.
