has received the designation of associate certified coach with the International Coaches Federation, a global organization dedicated to advancing the coaching profession. Erhard is director of Erhard Associates, an executive coaching and management consulting firm in Winnipeg.

AWARDS

Canadian Institute of Planners

presented the 2011 Award for Planning Excellence in the Planning category to the City of Winnipeg for OurWinnipeg/SpeakUpWinnipeg. OurWinnipeg is the blueprint that will guide land use and development for the city over the next 25 years. SpeakUpWinnipeg is the multi-faceted public engagement initiative through which city planners reached out to citizens and stakeholders to determine their vision of what Winnipeg might look like in the future.

 

Kathleen Williams

The Winnipeg Public Library’s coordinator of community outreach and marketing, was a joint winner of the Canadian Library Trustees’ Association’s 2011 Stan Heath Achievement in Literacy Award, presented at the association’s annual conference in Halifax in May. The award is presented to a public library board that has initiated an innovative program that is contributing significantly to the advancement of literacy in its community.
