Ashley Morgan

recently joined the Winnipeg Board of Jewish Education as co-ordinator of marketing and communications. A graduate of Red River College’s creative communications program, with a major in public relations, Morgan is completing her bachelor of arts in rhetoric and communications.

Dr. Pawan Singal,

director of the Institute of Cardiovascular Sciences at St. Boniface General Hospital, and professor of physiology, University of Manitoba, was honoured by the India Association of Manitoba at its India Day Celebration at the Manitoba Legislature. Singal was presented with a plaque recognizing outstanding contributions in the Indo-Canadian community of Manitoba, signed by Anupam Sharma, president, and Greg Selinger, premier.
