City council is set to vote on Winnipeg’s new transportation master plan, a 20-year planning blueprint that gives developers and residents an idea about the location of future road improvements and rapid transit corridors.
Council will also vote on a proposal to spend $2 million this winter to start the widening of Plessis Road, a five-cent transit fare increase in 2012, and a plan to spend $45 million to consolidate public works and fleet-management facilities east of the Red River.
