THIS weeks Tim Hortons Christmas Bonspiel was the final event before the best of the province’s junior curlers assemble Jan. 5-9 for the Manitoba junior men’s and junior women’s provincial curling championships.
The junior women’s event will be held at the Minnedosa Curling Club, while the junior men will compete at the West Kildonan Curling Club. The winners advance to the Canadian Juniors in Napanee, Ont., Feb. 4-12. The World Juniors will be in Ostersund, Sweden, Mar. 3-11.
Here are the seedings for the junior men’s event. The junior women’s seedings were delayed on Friday because the final provincials berth was still being determined late Friday night:
