Hey there, time traveller!
This article was published 17/02/2012 (4979 days ago), so information in it may no longer be current.
Ladies and gentlemen, once again we give you Chris Mason… goaltending-equipment fashion plate.
The Winnipeg Jets’ netminder was sporting a new mask at Friday’s game-day skate at MTS Centre, courtesy the artists at EYECANDYAIR (Twitter: @eyecandyair) in Woodbridge, Ont.
Last summer Mason unveiled his current mask to great fanfaire. It featured two images of Iron Maiden mascot ‘Eddie’ in a World War II airplane and a tribute to his family on the back plate painted in an aboriginal-art style.

The new mask features the maple leaf and jet used on the current logo while the back plate uses the Jets’ inaugural season logo and also includes the names of his two daughters, Avery and Quinn.
