Winnipeg police surrounded a vehicle that may have contained chemicals at the Richardson International Airport about 11 p.m. Monday night and took one person into custody.
The Hazmat team was brought in to search the vehicle.
Police closed down roads leading in and out of the airport.
One witness said about 20 police cars were in the area.
Winnipeg police are expected to release more details today.
