GAME BALLS
Offence
Winnipeg quarterback Joey Elliott looked sharp in his first start since the 2010 season, going 33-of-43 for 406 yards and one touchdown pass. Important: No interceptions (though the Ticats defence did drop a few).
Defence
Winnipeg defensive end Alex Hall made his presence felt with two forced fumbles, both coming on Hamilton quarterback Henry Burris. Hall finished with one sack, as well.
Special Teams
Bombers kicker Justin Palardy was 3-of-4 from field goal range. His longest was from 37 yards out. Palardy kept the home side close until the offence found the end zone in the second half.

Attendance Thursday night, ending the club’s nine-straight sellout streak.

The Bombers managed one point (a single on a missed field goal) in the opening 15 minutes. Winnipeg has only scored eight points in seven first quarters this year.
