RCMP are investigating a major theft after a truck, trailer and skid-steer worth upwards of $80,000 were stolen from Hillside Construction in Steinbach over the long weekend.
Steinbach RCMP said the suspect or suspects stole the equipment from the company’s parking lot sometime between Saturday, Oct. 6 and Tuesday, Oct. 9.
The missing truck is described as a black 2007 Ford F350 Crew Cab with “Hillside Construction” decals on it, with a Manitoba licence plate CDX 366. The trailer is a 16-foot Penner utility trailer with fold-up ramps and the Manitoba licence plate CNL 010. The skid-steer is a 2008 New Holland C175 yellow and black skid-steer.
RCMP has asked for the public’s help in identifying who is responsible. Anyone with information is asked to contact RCMP at 204-326-4452 or CrimeStoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
