ABOUT THE SENS Ottawa is 4-0-2 at home, but coming off a 3-2 OT loss to Carolina on Thursday in which they were stoned by Hurricanes' netminder Cam Ward, who made 45 saves. Sens' netminder Craig Anderson, named the NHL's first star for the month of January, has a 6-2-2 record, a 1.49 goals-against average and .950 save percentage. By comparison, Winnipeg's Ondrej Pavelec is 3-5-1 with a 3.28 GAA and .885 save percentage. With Jason Spezza out after back surgery, the Sens are led in scoring by Kyle Turris, who has four goals and six assists in 11 games. This could be a bad combo: heading into Friday's action, the Sens had the NHL's 7th-best power-play while the Jets continue to have the league's worst penalty-killing unit. Daniel Alfredsson is the longest-serving captain in the NHL, with this season marking his 13th consecutive wearing the 'C.'
