Canes’ Skinner concussed:

RALEIGH, N.C. — The Carolina Hurricanes say forward Jeff Skinner has a concussion. The team disclosed Skinner’s injury Wednesday and listed him on its injury report as day-to-day. He was hurt Feb. 14 in a win over Toronto but skated during practice the following day.

Fasth start for Ducks:

The Anaheim Ducks signed Viktor Fasth to a two-year, $5.8-million contract extension Wednesday, rewarding the Swedish goalie for his 8-0-0 start to his first NHL season. Fasth earned a new contract after nine unbeaten appearances.
