As far as winter days go, the next 48 hours should be pretty manageable.
According to Environment Canada, the forecast for Winnipeg and the surrounding area is calling for mainly cloudy skies and above normal temperatures. Today’s high is -4 C, with tonight’s low dipping down to -9 C.
The normal temperatures for this time of season are -7 C and – 16 C, respectively.
The national weather service projects a similar forecast for Sunday, with a 30 per cent chance of snow for Monday.
