Here’s something to warm your hearts on Valentine’s Day.
It’s going to get milder as the weekend goes on. That -28 C you woke up to this morning will be a distant memory by the the holiday Monday — Louis Riel Day — when the mercury is expected to hit -4 C.
Today, we won’t feel much love from the sun, as cloud cover and a chance of flurries are in the forecast. The daytime high today is -18 C.
Things begin to warm up on Saturday, with a high of -14 C on a bit off a dull, grey day.
On Sunday, the trend continues as the high is projected to reach -11 C during a mostly sunny day.
Get out and enjoy the day off Monday, as the temperature will hit -4 C.
Daytime highs the rest of the week will hover between -2 C and -5 C.
