Two crash victims remain in hospital following Monday’s fatal collision on Highway 59, RCMP say.
The driver of the southbound vehicle, a 30-year-old man from Winnipeg, and the passenger in the westbound vehicle, a 34-year-old woman from Libau, Man. were both listed in stable condition, police said today.
The driver of the westbound vehicle, a 42-year-old Libau man, was pronounced dead at the scene. He was not wearing a seatbelt. Police are not releasing the name of the deceased.
The initial investigation shows the southbound pickup truck collided with the westbound pickup truck on the front right passenger side as the westbound truck tried to cross Highway 59. The investigation continues.
