The Winnipeg Jets have signed defenceman Adam Pardy to a one-year contract extension for $700,000.
Pardy, 30, had 6 assists and 38 penalty minutes in 60 games with the Jets last season.
A nine-year NHLer, Pardy has played 260 games with Winnipeg, Calgary, Dallas and Buffalo.
The Jets also extended qualifying offers to six other player to retain their negotiation rights, according to a release. They are: John Albert, Ben Chiarot, Patrice Cormier, Michael Hutchinson, Carl Klingberg and Eric O’Dell.
