Winnipeg police have made another arrest in the strong-arm robbery near the Polo Park Shopping Centre earlier this month.
The incident occurred on July 12 when three people (two females and a male, all 18-years-old) were walking to the creek area under the railway bridge east of Empress Street about 4 p.m.
The group was confronted by several suspects and held at knifepoint for over 90 minutes. The victims were threatened and assaulted, and eventually robbed of their cellphones, identification, cash and bank cards.
Earlier this month, three males between the ages of 16 and 19 were arrested for their involvement in the incident.
A fourth suspect, a 19-year-old male, was arrested in the downtown area Tuesday. He was detained in custody.
The investigation continues.
