Hey there, time traveller!
This article was published 27/07/2003 (8154 days ago), so information in it may no longer be current.
THIS “Bench-nic” Table is a combination garden bench and picnic table rolled into one. Charming and attractive, it is so easily and quickly built that you can make it in the morning, sit on it in the afternoon, and dine atop of it the very same night. Flexibility is built right into this project.
As a garden bench, the project is a solid loveseat measuring six-feet long. The back rest easily tilts for a nifty, space-saving, one-sided table. Build two benches, set them back to back, and you have a full-size picnic table that seats six adults.
Very little wood is required to build this project and construction is so simple and straightforward that anyone with a few basic tools can tackle this project with confidence. Our plans come complete with a materials list, cutting schedule, full-size templates, lots of drawings and step-by-step instructions. Everything you need to know is included in one, easy-to-follow and comprehensive package.
As a bonus, you also have the opportunity to build two other benches, including a rocking patio glider and a gazebo bench, at a special price. All plans are delivered via first class mail.
To begin your “Bench-nic” Table, ask for Pattern No. YF-4 and send $21.95 (please add $5 for postage and GST). For our Rocking Patio Glider, ask for Pattern No. 2936, and for our Gazebo Bench, No. 2016. Each of these plans is $19.95. Save and order all three plans for only $36.95 (plus $6 postage and GST).
Make your cheque or money order payable to “Constructive Ideas” and mail it, along with your request, to: The Winnipeg Free Press, c/o PO Box 400, Beaconsfield, QC, H9W 5T9.
You may also order by calling toll-free, 1-800-561-8383 and by charging it to your Visa or MasterCard.
