CALGARY — The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have a chance to break a four-way tie for first place in the CFL’s West Division and take over sole posession with a win in Calgary Saturday evening over the Stampeders (6 p.m. CT, TSN).
The Bombers, Stamps, Edmonton Eskimos and B.C. Lions are all tied atop the West with identical 2-1 records heading into the game this evening. The Saskatchewan Roughriders are alone in last at 0-4.
The Bombers have won just once at McMahon Stadium since 2002, but it was also the last time they visited in the final week of the 2014 regular season.
The Bombers will rotate Nate Collins and Deantre Harlan in the defensive tackle position against Calgary in place of injured Bryant Turner, while returner Troy Stoudermire — who broke his hand in training camp — will make his 2015 debut tonight.
The Bombers game day scratches are receiver Kris Bastien and offensive lineman Devin Tyler.
The weather forecast for tonight’s game is ideal — temperatures in the mid-20’s with light winds and partly cloudy skies.
