Winnipeg’s Interstellar Rodeo is looking for a new headliner.
Irish singer Sinead O’Connor was scheduled to close out the opening night of the festival on Friday, Aug. 14, but has since cancelled all of her summer tour dates, citing “exhaustion.” A statement released by her agent says the singer “apologizes profusely, but cannot travel this summer anymore” due to an “exisiting not resolved medical situation.”
Organizers of Interstellar Rodeo say they are currently working on a backup plan and will keep everyone posted as they get more information.
