CBC Radio One has grabbed an even stronger hold on top spot of Winnipeg’s radio ratings medal.
The Crown agency’s Winnipeg affiliate earned a 15.3 per cent share of the 12-and-older audience in the Numeris fall ratings book, which measured listenership between Sept. 7 and Nov. 1. That’s up from CBC Radio One’s 11.9 per cent share in the spring, when the station took over top spot in the Winnipeg market from 680 CJOB.
CJOB maintained its second-place standing with a 10.9 per cent share of the audience, down from 11.5 in the spring.
Classic-rock station CITI-FM climbed into third spot, rising to 9.4 per cent this fall, compared with its 7.9 per cent share in the spring which was good enough for fifth place.
