the Winnipeg Jets beat the St. Louis Blues 2-1 following a prolonged shootout Tuesday night at the Scottrade Center.

Mark Scheifele potted the game winner in sudden death after a 1-1 tie pushed the game passed regulation time.

Bryan Little broke the ice with the first goal of the night just 15 seconds into the second period, quickly followed by Colton Parayko scoring for the Blues.

Throughout the game, the Jets had an edge over the Blues in the shot-on-goal department, ending the game 33-22.

Tonight’s win inches the Jets’ record to 24-26-3.
