Opinion

Hey there, time traveller!
This article was published 07/01/2009 (6117 days ago), so information in it may no longer be current.

I’ve been a bad, bad blogger. It has been many weeks (maybe months) since my last post.

The technology changed — and I’m someone who’d still have a rotary dial phone if I could. The CFS project that ran before Christmas took a lot of time and a lot of tears. I took two weeks off over Christmas and New Years to read books, work on giant crossword puzzles and spend time with friends and family.

Those are my excuses. Now it’s time to get back to business.

I swore I wasn’t going to write any more CFS stories in 2009. As you’ll see in Thursday’s paper I’ve already broken that resolution. Let me reframe the promise: I’ll keep telling the important stories but I’ll try to balance them with good news pieces, interesting reads and stories of average Winnipeggers doing laudable things.

Sound fair?

In the meantime, let the games begin. Tell me what you’re thinking and what’s been going on in your worlds.
