Hey there, time traveller!

If you’re a fan of all things automotive, the RBC Winnipeg Convention Centre is the place to be this weekend for Piston Ring’s 43rd annual World of Wheels car show.
According to Shelley Ostrove — a longtime local publicist for a wide variety of Winnipeg shows including the World of Wheels — show attendees can expect a terrific lineup with more than 225 vehicles on display.
“Thanks to the wonderful renovation and expansion of our convention centre, the Winnipeg show is bigger and better than ever,” Ostrove said.
“This really is a family show and we do our very best to appeal to everyone.”
Although there will be celebrity appearances throughout the weekend, make no mistake about it, at the World of Wheels the cars are the stars. You can expect to see antique, classic, restored and custom vehicles representing every genre of the automotive hobby. For you race fans, there will also be stock cars, drag racers and go-karts on display.
You can also check out all the latest parts, accessories and craftsmanship available from a wide variety of local companies that cater to the automotive hobby.
Another exciting feature back again this year in conjunction with the World of Wheels is the CycleRama Motorcycle Show presented by Harley-Davidson Winnipeg. Motorycle fans will get a chance to see the Milwaukee 8, the 107 cubic-inch engine that’s now standard on all Harley-Davidson Touring models, including the all-new Road King Special, a blacked out bagger with serious attitude. The Harley-Davidson Winnipeg crew is also hosting a custom motorcycle show — with an awesome lineup of bikes on display all weekend.
The majority of the vehicles at World of Wheels are Manitoba cars, but there will also be rides from across North America. Local and out of town entries are eligible to compete in this International Show Car Association (ISCA) sanctioned event. Part of the Summit Racing Equipment Show Car Series and the ISCA custom competition, the World of Wheels is produced by Championship Auto Shows, of Auburn Hills, Mich. Annually, more than a million spectators throughout the U.S and Canada attend more than 35 indoor custom car and motorsports events under the AutoRama, Cavalcade of Custom and World of Wheels names.
