The doors will open at 5 p.m. for the official 2017 Winnipeg Jets Draft Party presented by Sport Chek, with the 2017 National Hockey League Draft starting at 6 p.m. The Jets have the 13th pick in the first round.

The official hosts for the evening will be defenceman Josh Morrissey (2013 first round draft pick, 13th overall), along with forwards Kyle Connor (2015 first round draft pick, 17th overall) and Jack Roslovic (2015 first round draft pick, 25th overall) and Jets public address announcer Jay Richardson.

The team will mix in a little team history into the event, annoucing this year’s inductee into the Winnipeg Jets Hall of Fame. That former player will join Anders Hedberg, Bobby Hull and Ulf Nilsson, who were the first inductees — the Hot Line — into the hall last year.

Tickets for the draft party are on sale now for season seat holders, share partners and wait-list members. Everyone else can purchase tickets Monday at 10 a.m.

Tickets cost $40 for a reserve table seat and $30 for a general mezzanine-level seat. Everyone in attendance will receive complimentary food, a beverage and a 2017 draft party giveaway item.

Tickets can be purchased by going to www.winnipegjets.com/2017DraftParty. All purchasers will be limited to eight tickets per transaction.

Anyone who purchases a 2017 Winnipeg Jets Draft Party ticket before May 19 at 11:59 p.m. will be entered to win 10 seats and a $150 gift card courtesy of Sport Chek in the Draft Party Sport Chek VIP lounge.

The Jets will also make draft selections in the second, fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh rounds which will take place on Saturday, June 25.
