WINNIPEG — Get a deal and wheel away from the city’s annual bike auction tomorrow and Sunday.
The community bylaw services bicycle auction of unclaimed bicycles will be at the Varsity View Sportsplex, 4230 Ridgewood Ave.
There will be plenty of bikes to choose from. About 400 will be auctioned tomorrow, starting at 9 a.m., and another 300 Sunday at 12 p.m.
On-site parking is available for $1, with all parking proceeds going to the Varsity View Community Club.
Public viewing is from 7 to 8:45 a.m. Saturday and from 10 to 11:45 a.m. Sunday.
All bicycles are sold as is with no warranty.
Cash, Master Card, Visa, American Express and Interac will be accepted. Cheques will not.
One-time bicycle registrations will be available on site for $5 plus GST, for each bicycle.
