Two Manitoba acts took home hardware at this year’s Juno Awards in Vancouver over the weekend.
Fred Penner won his fourth Juno, this time for Children’s Album of the Year for his 2017 record Hear the Music, while Christian-pop group the Color earned their first Juno in the Contemporary Christian/Gospel Album for their latest record, First Day Of My Life.
Both of these awards were handed out at the Juno Gala Dinner and Awards, which took place on Saturday, a day before the televised event.
