Second-year Canadian wide receiver Rashaun Simonise, cut loose by the Winnipeg Blue Bombers on Saturday, has joined the B.C. Lions.
Simonise, 24, announced the signing via Twitter Sunday afternoon.
The 6-5, 205-pounder was Winnipeg’s second-round pick (12th overall) in the 2018 CFL Draft.
Simonise dressed for all 18 regular-season games as a rookie, catching four passes for 122 yards.
