Booth University College, located in downtown Winnipeg, has joined other post-secondary schools in requiring all employees, students and visitors to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 in order to be permitted on campus.
The campus will remain closed to the general public for the fall term, with the exception of the library.
Fall delivery of classes will continue to be virtual, but some in-person classes can occur if all participants are vaccinated.
Steinbach Bible College will not institute a vaccine mandate, instead strongly encouraging all faculty, staff members and students to be vaccinated. It will require safety protocols such as physical distancing, wearing masks and proper hand hygiene.
“Throughout the pandemic, we have met and exceeded the requirements as outlined by the Manitoba government, and will continue to do so as these requirements are updated,” the school said in a statement.
