Casera Credit Union members have voted to approve a merger with Access Credit Union.
The voting took place between Nov. 10 and Tuesday.
The two credit unions will unite under the Access Credit Union name and brand on July 1.
A two-thirds majority vote by Casera members was required under government regulations. Access members were not required to vote because Casera represents less than 10 per cent of Access’ total assets, a news release sent Wednesday states.
Access is already Manitoba’s largest credit union.
