Manitoba Public Health is closing its last COVID-19 vaccination clinic.

The clinic at 1680 Notre Dame Ave. in Winnipeg will give its final COVID-19 shot on Feb. 25.

The clinic has provided more than 24,200 doses of COVID-19 and flu vaccines since it opened on Sept. 20, 2022, following the closure of the mass immunization clinic at the downtown convention centre, the province said.

The Notre Dame clinic was an immunization centre during the initial rollout of the COVID-19 vaccine in 2021.

Vaccination clinics will continue to be offered by the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority starting in March.

Clinics are scheduled at ACCESS Centres on the following dates:

– March 1 from 1 to 6 p.m. at ACCESS St. Boniface (170 Goulet St.).

– March 4 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at ACCESS Transcona (845 Regent Ave. West).

– March 4 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at ACCESS Winnipeg West (280 Booth Dr.).

– March 7 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at ACCESS Downtown (640 Main St.).

Additional information about vaccination clinics at ACCESS Centres will be available through the Manitoba government’s online vaccine finder and appointments can be booked online or by phone at 1-844-626-8222. Walk-ins will be accepted.

Provincial public health officials led 11 COVID-19 vaccine sites across Manitoba and administered more than 1.7 million doses, since December 2020.

About half of the more than 3.4 million doses administered in Manitoba were given out at provincial sites, the government said.
