Woman arrested after bear spray, cannabis found in business

9:32 AM

A 28-year-old Winnipeg woman is facing charges after Winnipeg police inspected her business in the 600 block of Alfred Avenue.

On March 28 police seized 18 full and three partially-full bear spray cannisters, as well as packaged cannabis products.

Police say the cannabis products were not labelled for sale, and the business was not licensed to sell cannabis or bear spray.

The woman was arrested on April 7 and was released on an appearance notice.

Crews went inside to address the flames and got the fire under control by 5:27 a.m. No one was reported hurt and the service is still investigating the cause of the fire.
