A news release states the respective negotiation teams from the Manitoba Government Employees and General Union Local 145 and Seine River have recommended ratification of terms that were discussed late Saturday.
“The strike action scheduled for 8 a.m. Monday morning has been postponed, pending a ratification vote scheduled for Thursday,” states the release, which indicates the parties are in agreement the latest proposal addresses EA concerns about compensation and operational challenges related to recruitment and retention.
